- Luphumlo is a graduate of the Young African Leadership Programme (YALI) that was initiated by former President Barack Obama through the UNISA School of Business Leadership (Midrand Campus), The Activate Leadership Programme and has been a part of the SABC 1 One Day Leader Show (Season 6)
- He is the author of The Ultimate Leader-Shift; a book written for young African leaders about authentic heart-based leadership in the 21st century. This book will be launched around the country in 2019.
